1112 Lot 13 - Promise R

December 2011 auction

Chestnut stallion, 14/12/2005, 16.2 hh
Prestige x AEA Fiona
On account of Ryans

Promise R is the opportunity of a lifetime. This is a sensational young stallion who has picture perfect conformation, a super temperament, is currently schooling
piaffe, flying changes, canter and walk pirouettes, and is going beautifully under saddle. What’s more, Promise R has the most magnificent bloodlines. Prestige started life with Edward Gal in Holland, was sold to New Zealand and then sold to Australia with a view to the new owners trying to get picked on the 2012 Olympic Team for Australia. Prestige is by Silvano N who for years and years was the cornerstone of the Dutch dressage team. Silvano N’s rider was Ellen Bontje and they competed at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. On Promise R’s dams side you can see Flemmingh, who was responsible for some amazing Grand Prix dressage
horses including Lingh (ridden by Edward Gal), Krack C (ridden by Anky van Grunsven), Feur (ridden by Maurice Bruce for Australia). This is probably the first time that the Silvano N blood and the Flemmingh blood have ever come together. The result is a very careful and powerful jumper, a very talented dressage horse, a proven spectacular sire and a very beautiful young stallion. Promise R is a potential Olympic ride as well as a very commercial stallion at stud proposition.
